Important Balance Transfer Information: Applicants approved for the Visa Signature or Platinum Card with $49 annual fee earn one (1) point per one dollar ($1) in balances that post to your account in the first 30 days after your new account is opened, up to a maximum of 5,000 points.
Applicants approved for the Visa Signature or Platinum Card with no annual fee will earn one (1) point per one dollar ($1) in balances that post to your account in the first 30 days after your new account is opened, up to a maximum of 2,500 points.
Please note: If you make a balance transfer, you will be charged interest on purchases if you do not pay off your entire balance, which includes any transferred balance, by the payment due date each month. There is a fee for Balance Transfers. Balance Transfer Checks and Convenience Checks do not qualify for bonus points. The Balance Transfer is subject to the Balance Transfer Fee set forth in the Terms and Conditions.
Applicants approved for the Visa Signature or Platinum Card with $49 annual fee will earn three (3) Elevate points for every one dollar ($1) of net purchases of Virgin America tickets or Red in-flight purchases with the credit card account, rounded to the nearest dollar and one (1) Elevate point for every one dollar ($1) of net purchases made everywhere else the account is used, rounded to the nearest dollar.

Companion Ticket Discount Code: The Primary Cardmember is eligible to receive one (1) one-hundred fifty dollar ($150.00) Virgin America Companion Ticket Discount Code each year. The First code will be sent after the Account has been used for at least one purchase and the annual fee has been paid. The code can be redeemed for $150.00 off a companion ticket when traveling with another passenger on a paid published airfare on the same itinerary. Discount code is only valid on roundtrip ticket purchases and cannot be used on existing bookings. Minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 passengers are required to use the discount and a maximum discount per booking is $150. Please allow 6-8 weeks for code delivery. 14-day advance purchase is required. The Virgin America Visa Credit Card must be used to purchase travel in order to receive the discount. Virgin America is solely responsible for the electronic delivery of the Discount Code. Discount Codes will be sent via email only. Other restrictions apply and will be provided on the discount email from Virgin America. Virgin America Visa Cardmembers with no annual fee are not eligible for this benefit.
Qualifying Status Points: Each year, Virgin America Visa cardholders will earn bonus status points if $25,000 in eligible purchases have been made using the credit card during the applicable year. Cardmembers that have an annual fee will earn a 10,000 status points (provided the annual fee has been paid) and Virgin America Visa cardholders not paying an annual fee will earn 5,000 status points. Each year will be measured based on billing cycle end dates beginning in January and ending in December of the applicable year, regardless of account open date. Any eligible purchases made after the December billing cycle end date will be applied to toward the next year's status point earnings. Approximately 6-8 weeks after the billing cycle end date in which the $25,000 in eligible purchases threshold has been reached, the 10,000 or 5,000 Status Points earned, as applicable, will be posted to the cardholder's Elevate account.
